Hey guys, check it out! Gere's Teen Advisory Board has been hard at work creating one of the Rain Barrels to be displayed all over Lincoln through the month of March. They will then be auctioned off on April 18th to support the scholarship fund which will allow kids to attend Adventure and Extreme Nature Camp at Pioneers Park Nature Center.

Take a look at the website, http://www.lincoln.ne.gov/city/pworks/watrshed/educate/barrel/artist/index.htm, and take a look for the displays at Anderson, Bennet Martin, Gere, South, Eiseley and Walt, as well as around town at various local businesses.

And think about having a rain barrel in your yard! Spring is coming - the time to go green is at hand!
