The Philip K. Dick AwardThe Philip K. Dick Award is presented annually for the best science fiction published in paperback original form in the United States. The award is sponsored by the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society, and has been supported since 2005 by the Philip K. Dick Trust. The award is selected by an appointed committee of judges. The award is presented at Norwescon, a science fiction and fantasy convention held each spring in Seattle, Washington. The award is named after science fiction writer Philip K. Dick, and has been given each year since Dick's death in 1982. Dick's body of work included 36 novels, 121 short stories, and 14 short story collections.
