Romance Writers of America

The Romance Writers of America is the ultimate source of support and advocacy for romance writers. A national lobbying organization that works to protect writers' rights and improve the public perception of romance fiction, their site has lots of useful information for aspiring or beginning writers. There are also links to all of the local or regional Chapters of RWA, of which there are currently three in Nebraska.

Romantic Times Book Club

Romantic Times Book Club is the romance publishing field's main promotional magazine, filled each month with dozens of reviews, author profiles, publishing news, and helpful columns for both readers and writers. They also sponsor the annual RITA awards for romance fiction, as well as an annual convention for readers and writers of romance.

The Romance Reader

The Romance Reader has feature articles about romance fiction, interviews with romance authors, and over 7,000 romance fiction reviews.

Romancing the Blog is an extensively cross-referenced "blogging" site for romance writers. Lots of useful links to additional resources.
