LibX Lincoln City Libraries Edition

LibX Lincoln City Libraries Edition is an extension for Firefox and Chrome that provides direct access to Lincoln City Library's resources. Features include:
  • LibX Extension for Firefox usersA search widget that allows you to search the Lincoln City Libraries catalog from wherever you are on the Web.
  • A right-click context menu that allows you to search the Lincoln City Libraries catalog for terms you highlight on any Web site.
  • Embedded cues like thisLCL iconor this  Koha 16 pixel icon at sites such as Amazon or Barnes & Noble that allow you to check for a book's availability in the Lincoln City Libraries catalog.
This extension works with Firefox and Chrome only. It does not work with other browsers such as Internet Explorer or Safari.

Download the LibX Lincoln City Libraries Edition extension for Firefox.
If Firefox displays a message "To protect your computer, Firefox prevented this site... from installing software on your computer.", press the button labelled "Edit Options..." and click "Allow" to add libx.org to the list of websites from which extensions may be installed. Then click "Ok" and visit the "Install" link again.

LibX Extension for Firefox usersA version for Internet Explorer is available, but
there may be some compatibility problems when using it with Windows 7 or with Internet Explorer 8 or later. This version takes the form of an additional toolbar in the browser. It requires that the Microsoft .Net 2.0 Framework be installed; please run Windows Update and check the optional software updates to see if you have this installed before downloading the Internet Explorer plugin.

Download the Internet Explorer plugin; click "Run" in the dialog box that pops up.
