One Book One Lincoln Nomination Form


One Book One Lincoln Thousands of people have participated in the One Book - One Lincoln community reading program during the past eight years enjoying reading and discussing Plainsong, Bel Canto, Peace Like a River, Kite Runner, Devil in the White City, The Worst Hard Time, The Thirteenth Tale, and People of the Book.

Selecting a book for all of Lincoln to read is the first step. You can help by nominating a title. A committee of community readers will rely on these nominations to select five finalists. The community will then vote one of these finalists as THE BOOK for 2010.

Here's what we're looking for in a book:

  • Fiction or Nonfiction
  • Addresses universal themes of life
  • Sparks thoughtful discussion
  • Of general interest to adults and young adults
Suggestions can also be e-mailed to library@lincolnlibraries.org. Printed nomination forms are also available at Lincoln City Libraries locations. Deadline to submit your nomination: February 2, 2010
