Libraries' Storytime to Feature Lincoln Stars Players
Lincoln City Libraries is partnering with the Lincoln Stars hockey team for November's preschool storytime program. Stars' players will read aloud to the children and teach them about hockey and the equipment used to play the game.

Lincoln Stars"We are excited by the opportunity given to us by the Lincoln City Libraries for our Stars players to meet and interact with children from the community," said Alanna Morse, Head of Business Development for the Lincoln Stars. "Many of these children look up to the players as role models, and we feel it is our obligation to set a good example and encourage reading on a daily basis."

Preschool storytime programs begin at 10:30 a.m. on the following dates:


Pre-registration is not required, and newcomers are always welcome.

 

Library Dance Party Tuesday, December 2, December 9, and December 16, 2014

Walt Branch Library
For all ages
Library Dance Party!: Story time is taking a winter break, but you don't have to. Join us for a Library Dance Party at Walt Branch! The program kicks off with a music themed story. Then we will shake off the winter blahs while we move and groove to fun dance tunes. Parents are encouraged to stay and join in the fun. Open to kids and parents of all ages.

Sundays just got a lot more fun! Now in addition to reading, Wifi and homework, we have Lego Sundays at the library! This program is free and open to youth, young adults and their parents.
