Walt Branch Library
This fun and educational family event is sponsored by Lincoln City Libraries, the Wild Bird Habitat Stores, Wachiska Audubon and Nebraska Games and Parks Commission.

People of all ages are invited to attend the event which includes crafts, games and a live raptor display. Participants will have the opportunity to make a burlap bag full of nesting materials or a pine cone feeder. The event also includes instruction on how to use binoculars for bird watching and how to identify bird songs.

Kids Can Learn About Taking Care of Their Teeth at Preschool Storytime in February
Teeth photoFebruary is Dental Health Awareness Month and Lincoln City Libraries is putting the spotlight on teeth! Staff from the Ameritas Group Division and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department, Dental Health and Nutrition Services, will be on hand during storytime to provide information about dental care. Celebrate the Chinese New Year with stories, songs, dancing, Chinese craft, and more! Nai-Hua Valerie Kuo will be at Anderson Toddler Time to share her cultural traditions and help us usher in the year of the Sheep! Traditional New Year treats will be shared.
