During May, Library staff - and Homer the Saltdog - visited schools to promote the Summer Reading Program

R.A.P. Around the Year at Gere, Mondays June 10 and July 8, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Gere is offering a book group for first-through third-graders and their reading partners. Pre-register (required) at Gere Branch Library or by calling 402-441-8560. The book for the first session will need to be picked up and read prior to the meeting. |
Starts May 24! When you register for the 2013 Summer Reading Program, you will receive a book bag and a booklet, so that you can be ready to read, read, read! Each time you visit Lincoln City Libraries or any participating school media center, bring your booklet with you to have it stamped and stickered. Visit a library four times, read for a total of ten hours, and complete ten of the reading-related activities, and you will receive these rewards:
