Lincoln City Libraries’ Digital Downloads from OverDrive provides a collection of downloadable audiobooks that can be checked out for a period of 7, 14, or 21 days for listening to on a computer or portable audio device. You can have up to 10 downloadable titles (eBooks and audiobooks) checked out at one time.
If you are using a mobile device such as an Android, Galaxy Tab NOOK, NOOK HD, NOOK HD+, iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, please use OverDrive’s free Libby app.
Galaxy Book devices use Windows instead of the Android operating system. Libby is not available as an app for Windows, but an in-browser option is available at https://libbyapp.com
For Fire tablets, Libby is now available in the Amazon Appstore. It is also possible to manually install Libby on Fire Tablets; instructions are available here.
OverDrive’s Libby app is designed to make borrowing and enjoying eBooks and audiobooks easier. Libby is available for Android, iOS, and some Chromebooks. It is available from Google Play and Apple’s App Store. More information about Libby is available here. You can also watch this introductory video about Libby:
