Access Instructions for Databases

Logging into our online databases is automatic from most computers located within Lincoln City Libraries facilities, including personal laptops and mobile devices using the Library’s WiFi. However, if your laptop or device uses mobile data instead of the LIbrary's WiFi, or if  you use a VPN, you will need to use these instructions for off-site access.

Off-site access to most of our databases is available here for Lincoln City Libraries cardholders. Unless otherwise noted, you will need to enter a valid library card number and PIN. When prompted for your library card number, enter all digits with no spaces, or enter your Library OneCard (formerly ConnectEd) 6 digit LPS student ID.

Once you have logged into a resource with your library card number, you can access the other resources without having to re-enter your card number for a 30-minute period.

Important: Our databases require that you access them through our Web site in order to log in. Bookmarking the individual resources will not work.

NebraskAccess

Databases marked “NebraskAccess” on our off-site access pages also allow you to connect to them via the NebraskAccess site and use a NebraskAccess password; contact Library staff for details. (Access using a driver's license or state ID number is no longer available.)

If you have difficulty using these databases, please contact Library staff at 402-441-8530 for assistance.
