Schools are closed and storytimes at the library are on hold, but here are some great ways to find storytimes, books, activities, and educational fun online!

Spring into ReadingJoin our Spring into Reading Challenge! Much like Summer Reading and Winter Reading, this is your chance to log reading time, do fun activities, and enter prize drawings.

Read Aloud LINCOLN: Read today. Succeed tomorrow.Read Aloud Lincoln is live streaming storytimes at 10:00 am every morning. Read Aloud Lincoln Virtual Storytimes are available here.

With a computer, phone, or tablet, you can access thousands of ebooks, audiobooks for free using your library card number and PIN. Call the library for assistance with logging in, or if you live in Lincoln or Lancaster County but don’t have a library card yet.

LibbyOverDrive: Ten items checked out at a time, and no limit per month. Look for the Libby app from OverDrive, available from Google Play or the Apple App Store.

hooplaHoopla: Four items checked out total per month. Also includes movies and music albums. Look for the Hoopla Digital app from Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Tumblebook libraryTumbleBook Library is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), Ebooks which may be viewed online, and Tumble Puzzles & Games.

TumbleMath is a collection of math e-Books for grades K-6. (Available through August 31, 2020; this resource may not work on the Library’s catalog computers.)

Primary Schools explora: An EBSCO ExperienceExplora Primary is a kids’ interface to several of our resources for biographies, health information, magazine articles and more.

Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia is a student-friendly online encyclopedia covering more than 25,000 topics.

NoveList K-8NoveList K-8 is a tool to help you find books to read that you will enjoy.

Primary SearchPrimary Search provides full text for more than 70 popular magazines and reference books for elementary school research.
