Kids

Due to the pandemic and the fact that children have not been vaccinated yet, we will not have any large in-person Summer Reading Challenge events in June or July.

Outdoor Library Learning Times (Storytimes)

We will be offering Outdoor Library Learning Times at five locations in June and July. Check here for days and times. Check the library’s Facebook page @LNKlibraries for weather related announcements.

Storytimes To Go

Storytimes To Go are intended for day care providers or parents that want to create a simple storytime for their children. We currently have ten Storytime themes to choose from. Library staff will put the plan and five books that match the theme into a book bag for you to pick up at the library. There is a limit of one Storytime theme per request. Please allow 3-4 days for your request to be processed.

Virtual Storytimes

From January through May we will provide virtual Toddler Storytimes at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays and Preschool Storytimes at 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays via our Facebook page! (Storytimes are not held in August or December.)

Grab & Go Book BundlesGrab & Go Book Bundles are here!

Each pre-made bundle of 3-5 books will help you to get in and out of the library quickly and leave with a great selection of books your kids will love!

We have some great ways to find storytimes, books, activities, and educational fun online on our Learning Links page!
