Lincoln City Libraries (LCL) today announced it has received a $10,000 grant from the Public Library Association (PLA) to increase digital literacy using Digitallearn.org resources. Free 90-minute workshops on computer and technology basics will cover topics such as getting started with computers, the internet, email, understanding cybersecurity, videoconferencing, and mobile device basics.
US Major Dailies provides access to the five most respected U.S. national and regional newspapers: The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and The Wall Street Journal. Access from outside the Library is also available.
Regular strategic planning is essential for setting direction and providing clarity for Lincoln City Libraries.
