“We are thrilled to welcome Amanda Peters to Lincoln and offer our community the chance to engage with this extraordinary novel and its author,” said Ryan Wieber, LCL Director. “Events like these bring readers together and celebrate the power of literature to connect us all.”

Peters will discuss her debut novel during an in-person interview, followed by a question and answer session. A book signing will take place afterward, with copies of The Berry Pickers available for purchase courtesy of Francie & Finch Bookshop. Guests may bring their personal copies for signing.

The Berry Pickers tells the story of a four-year-old Mi’kmaq girl who vanishes from a blueberry field in Maine, sparking a decades-long mystery that deeply impacts her family. The novel has earned awards including the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction and the Barnes & Noble Discover Prize.
