Two special programs were held at various public libraries during October 2006 tied in to the themes of The Devil in the White City.

Gere Branch Library
2400 S. 56th St.

Gary Plank, profiler for the Nebraska State Patrol, will provide information about techniques used by law enforcement agencies to identify serial criminals.

Discussion of the book will follow this presentation.


Sunday, October 29 2006, 2:00 p.m.
Eiseley Branch Library
1530 Superior St.

Ed Zimmer, Lincoln-Lancaster County Planning Department, Historic Preservation, will discuss and provide illustrations of local architecture which was influenced by Chicago architecture at the turn of the century.
